Crystal Springs Summer Job Opportunity!

We are currently looking to add lifeguards to our Summer 2021 Staff and thought residents of your town might be interested in this opportunity.

Here is what you need to know about the position:

There is not a formal interview to be hired as a lifeguard. The lifeguard course is the interview!

Once you apply – we’ll email you information to register for lifeguard training (through the Recreation Department’s site. The course is $130. You complete an online course then come and develop your skills with us at Crystal Springs!

You will get your Lifeguarding, CPR, AED, and First Aid Training through us – you don’t have to have any of these certifications to apply!

Starting salary for lifeguards is $10/hour.

Why should you consider becoming a lifeguard? In addition to the skill set you’ll develop (including Lifeguarding Skills, Healthcare Provider CPR, AED, and First Aid, Oxygen Administration Training, and Blood Borne Pathogen Training) – you will also develop skills that will grow your leadership abilities and strengthen your resume!

STATEMENT ON SOUTH RIVER RESCUE SQUAD FUNDRAISER There have been questions concerning the recent South River Rescue Squad 2019 Fund Drive. Be advised that the South River Rescue Squad is a private company. The Borough of South River does not use its services. If you call 9-1-1, the Police will call Robert Wood Johnson to handle the emergency. If they can not answer, another outside emergency medical service will be called.
Any money donated to the South River Rescue Squad does not go to the Borough of South River. Your money goes to a private company that is involved with a lawsuit with the Borough. Be advised accordingly
